Wingback headboards,
made to measure
A wingback headboard wraps the bed with forward-curving side wings, like a classic wing chair scaled to the bedroom — and it is one of the fastest-growing bed styles in the US. We handcraft wingbacks to order in our Florida atelier: diamond-tufted or smooth, with or without nailhead trim, in your fabric and color, from full to Cal King and beyond. King pieces reference from around $1,265; the photos below are real pieces from our workshop, not renders from a catalog. Production takes 28 days, delivered and installed statewide.

What is a wingback headboard?
A wingback headboard has side wings that curve forward, embracing the bed like a classic wing chair. It adds a sense of enclosure and hotel-suite presence, frames the pillows beautifully, and softens sound and drafts around the head of the bed.
How much does a custom wingback bed cost?
Our made-to-measure wingback headboards are quoted by size and fabric, with king pieces referenced from around $1,265 and the wings adding to the final number. Send us your mattress size and fabric direction and we return an exact quote.
Can the wings be tufted or plain?
Both. The classic version pairs diamond tufting on the face with smooth wings; modern versions go fully smooth with curved wings. Nailhead trim along the wings, like the piece in our photos, is a popular finishing touch.
What sizes can it be made in?
Any size — full, queen, king, California King or fully custom width and height. Because each piece is made to order in our Florida atelier, the wings are proportioned to your bed instead of a factory template.
How long does it take?
Production takes 28 days, made to order in our Florida atelier. Delivery and installation are then scheduled at your home, anywhere in Florida, with a 1-year warranty.
