Is bouclé durable enough for a bed?
Yes, if the weave is upholstery-grade. We use tight-loop upholstery bouclé, not the loose fashion version. In our own production data, bouclé is the most requested fabric in the atelier — 42% of all fabric meters we cut — and pieces hold up beautifully with basic care.
How do you clean a bouclé bed?
Vacuum weekly with a soft brush attachment, blot spills immediately with a barely damp white cloth, and avoid rubbing so the loops stay intact. No machine washing — for deeper cleaning, call an upholstery professional.
