Booth reupholstery,
a redesign, not a patch
Sheep & Sleep reupholsters restaurant booths, banquettes and hotel seating from our own atelier in Kissimmee, Florida, replacing worn covers and flattened foam and repairing frames when needed. When the frame is still solid, reupholstering is usually far cheaper than buying new, and it is the moment to refresh the whole room: new color, a channel or tufted back, more durable commercial vinyl. We schedule the work in phases or around closing days so your dining room keeps serving.

Cracked or peeling vinyl
Surface damage lets moisture and bacteria into the foam. Past a certain point, cleaning cannot fix it.
Seats that sink
Flattened foam makes guests sit low and uncomfortable. New high-density foam restores the seat.
Stains and fading
Sun, spills and harsh cleaners age covers fast, especially in Florida light and humidity.
Loose or wobbly frames
A solid frame can be reupholstered. A broken one may need replacing. We tell you which.
A dated look
The fastest way to make a room feel new without rebuilding it.

When should restaurant booths be reupholstered?
Reupholster when the cover is cracked, peeling, stained or torn, or when the seat foam has flattened, but the frame is still solid. In a busy dining room, vinyl covers commonly need replacing every 5 to 7 years, while a well-built frame can last 15 to 20 years or more.
Is it cheaper to reupholster or replace booths?
When the frames are sound, reupholstering usually costs well below replacing: industry guides commonly put it at roughly 40 to 60 percent less. If the frame is broken, loose or water-damaged, replacement is often the better investment.
Do I have to close the restaurant?
Usually not. Booth reupholstery can be scheduled in phases, section by section, or around closing days, so the dining room keeps working while seats are refreshed.
Can you change the look when reupholstering?
Yes. Reupholstery is a chance to redesign: a new color, a channel or tufted back instead of a plain one, piping, or a more durable commercial vinyl.
Do you replace the foam too?
We assess the foam on every job. Flattened or crumbling foam is replaced so the booth feels new, not just looks new.
Do you reupholster hotel and bar seating?
Yes. Besides booths and banquettes we reupholster hotel lobby seating, headboards, bar benches and lounge pieces.
