Curved & specialty booths,
shaped to your room
Sheep & Sleep builds custom curved booths, including half-circle, 3/4 circle, U-shaped, L-shaped corner and serpentine banquettes, in our own atelier in Kissimmee, Florida. Curved seating is harder to build well: the frame, the foam and the cover all have to follow the radius without wrinkles or gaps. That kind of shaped, tailored upholstery is exactly what our atelier specializes in, with channel or tufted backs laid out along the curve and drawn to your floor plan before production.

| Shape | What it is | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Half-circle booth | A 180° curve around a round or oval table. Seats roughly 4 to 6 depending on diameter. | Center tables, feature spots |
| 3/4 circle booth | A 270° curve that wraps the table and leaves one open side. Very social, very private. | VIP areas, lounges, groups |
| U-shaped / horseshoe booth | Straight sides joined by a curved or squared back, open at the front. | Large parties, family tables |
| L-shaped / corner booth | Two runs meeting at a corner, with a curved or square joint. | Corners that chairs waste |
| Serpentine / wave banquette | A continuous S-curve that divides space and creates pockets of seating. | Hotel lobbies, open dining rooms |
Shaped upholstery is our specialty

A radius drawn before the first cut. Every curved booth starts as a drawing at real scale, so the table, the aisle and the curve work together in your room.
Channels that follow the curve. Channel backs are laid out so each channel stays even around the radius, and tufting patterns are spaced to the shape.
Built for groups. Half-circle and 3/4 circle booths turn a table into a destination, which is why they anchor VIP areas, lounges and feature corners.

What is a half-circle booth?
A half-circle booth is a curved booth that wraps 180 degrees around a round or oval table. It seats more guests than a straight booth of the same footprint, creates a natural focal point and works well for groups of four to six.
How much space does a curved booth need?
Plan for the booth diameter plus clearance: the seat depth (about 18 to 20 inches) and back thickness sit around the table, and you still need a clear aisle of at least 36 inches around the open side. A floor plan with the table size lets us draw the exact footprint.
Are curved booths harder to build?
Yes. Curved frames, foam cut to a radius and covers tailored to a curve take more skill and time than straight runs, which is why they vary so much in quality. Shaped upholstery is a core skill of our atelier.
Can a curved booth have a channel or tufted back?
Yes. Channel backs follow the curve naturally, and button or diamond tufting can be laid out along the radius. The pattern is drawn to the exact shape before production.
Do curved booths work in bars and nightclubs?
Yes. 3/4 circle and U-shaped booths are a staple of VIP and bottle-service areas because they give a group a private, enclosed space facing one table.
